Complete procedure to apply for KNB Scholarship 2025
The Indonesian government provides the KNB (Kemitraan Negara Berkembang) Scholarship for international students every year, which provides fully-funded opportunities for Master’s and PhD programs. Complete procedure to apply for KNB Scholarship 2025
1. Download the scholarship offer letter from the official KNB Scholarship website
The first step is to visit the official KNB Scholarship website and download the scholarship offer letter, which is required for the application process.
2. Contact the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate:
Each candidate must contact the Indonesian Embassy or Consulate in their country of origin and submit all academic and administrative documents there. After reviewing these documents, the embassy will provide you with a *Recommendation Letter* for the scholarship, which is mandatory for your application.
3. The embassy will review your documents: Indonesian embassy officers will verify your educational background, grade point average (GPA), final degree, institution reputation, and other relevant information. In addition, any work experience you have will also be checked.
4. Get a recommendation letter from the embassy:
If all documents are complete and correct, the Indonesian embassy will issue you a recommendation letter. Remember that you cannot apply for the scholarship without this recommendation letter.
5. Register online on the official KNB Scholarship website:
After receiving the recommendation letter, you must visit the KNB Scholarship website and submit your application online.

- Only applications with a signed recommendation letter issued by an Indonesian Embassy or Consulate in 2025 will be accepted.
