1. Recipients will get fund for their study for three years
2. Scholarship covers: tuition, housing (on-campus dormitory), International Student Insurance, living allowance (RMB3500/month)
Qualifications and Selection Criteria
1. Applicants should be internationals holding a foreign passport and must abide by the laws and regulations in China and the University and respect the manners and customs in China.
2. Applicants should hold a Master’s degree that is recognized by Chinese Ministry of Education. Applicants should be below 40 years old.
3. Applicants should have excellent academic performance and obtain the recommendations made by at least two professors or associate professors.
4. Applicants cannot hold other scholarship granted by Chinese government before and after the time of application.
5.Application from the currently-enrolled SYAU full-time students will not be considered.
Application Materials (please write the application materials in Chinese or English)
1. One original copy and one photocopy of Application Form of Liaoning Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students (see the attachment)
2. Notarized certificate of highest degree and transcripts. A certificate of enrollment or a certificate of employment should also be submitted if applicants have been officially employed for a job. Documents that are formulated neither in Chinese of English should be enclosed with a notarized Chinese or English version upon submission.
3. One original copy and photocopy of Foreigners Physical Examination Report
4. Study and Research Plan in China (no less than 1000 words)
5. Recommendation letters from 2 professors or associate professors of the previous school.
