Q1: Where can I download the Financial Guarantee Statement, Foreigner Physical Examination Form, and Health Insurance Application Form?

Q2: Do I need to apply in the Yangzhou University Application System if I intend to apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship, International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, or Jiangsu Government Scholarship?
A: Yes. YZU system is compulsory for all applications.
Q3: Do I need to send hard copies to Yangzhou University?
A: No. You can only finish the online application.
Q4: Is it necessary to get an acceptance letter from a tutor if I intend to apply for master programs or doctoral programs?
A: It is highly recommended to contact the tutor before application, or it may require a longer review time.

Q5: If I intend to apply for multiple scholarships, do I need to apply several times in the Yangzhou University Application System?
A: Applying for multiple scholarships is not suggested.

Q7: If I failed in admission, can I get my application fee refunded?
A: The application fee is not refundable.
Q8: When is the deadline for application fee payment?
A: You have to pay for the application within 15 days after you successfully finish your online application. For example: If you finished your online application on March 5, 2025, you have to pay the application fee before March 20, 2025.
Q9: How can I know I need to pay for application fee?
A: All the applicants have to pay the application fee except for ICLTS scholarship applicants.
Q10: How can I know if I have been admitted?
A: Your admission result can be checked in the application system (https://yzu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx); we will not inform you in other ways.
Q11: How can I receive my admission notice and JW201/202 form?
A: YZU will send an electronic Acceptance Letter and electronic JW201/202 form to the admitted international students, via email or other online channels. Hard copies of an Acceptance Letter and JW201/202 form will not be delivered any longer.
Q12: If I can arrive at YZU earlier? How can I apply for the accommodation?
A: We usually don’t accept any early arriving students. If you have any special reason for arriving early, please contact us first. Before getting permission, you will not be arranged at the YZU dormitory.
Q13: If I can arrive at YZU later than the appointed date?
A: If you have any acceptable reason for arriving later than the appointed date, you have to contact us to get permission first or you will be considered for giving up registering.
